Toyota Industrial Equipment Europe is producing a unique Gold Edition version of its most popular forklift series ever.
The 7IC Series, which to date has sold over 250,000 units worldwide, will now be available for a limited time across Europe in a unique gold edition. Every truck will feature a new gold and black design reflecting Toyota’s 50 years of materials handling experience. Toyota is also offering special value packages on the 7IC Series, developed to meet the specific needs of customers in each country.
Featuring revolutionary innovations such as the Toyota System of Active Stability (SAS) and Operator Total Care package (OTC), the 7IC Series has become the most popular forklift model in the world, with sales passing the 250,000 mark.
Since its launch, the 7IC Series has demonstrated its value and reliability by delivering top performances under the most extreme conditions, from the harsh cold of northern Europe to the extreme heat of Europe’s southern regions.
Another 7IC trademark is its versatility. 7IC trucks have been modified to fit the needs of numerous specialised applications across a wide range of industries.
Shinya Furukawa, President of Toyota Industrial Equipment Europe comments: “Toyota has come a long way since the launch of its first commercial forklift truck in Japan in 1956. Since then, the company has continued to innovate through unveiling new products and services and is now the world’s largest manufacturer of materials handling equipment.
“Since the 7IC Series has become the most popular forklift model in the world, it seems fitting to launch an exclusive gold edition 7IC as Toyota celebrates 50 years in the materials handling business. The 7IC Series is a range in which we have truly put our 50 years of materials handling expertise to use, and we are certain that our customers will continue to enjoy the benefits that have made this forklift a worldwide bestseller.”
